Travel day is finally here! Andrea and I take off tonight for the beautiful green hills and cliffside views of Ireland. Ireland has been on the top of my bucket list for almost a decade and my heart is full knowing this box is finally being checked!
This trip will land Andrea and I in Dublin, after which we will stay in Donegal, Galway, Dingle, Cork, and Kilkenny, as well as whatever we can squeeze in on the way! We are renting a car, which Andrea seems fairly confident in driving on the opposite side of the road (thoughts and prayers) so it'll be quite an experience.
Andrea had the luck of being able to visit Ireland in the past, so I asked her a few things about her prior visit:
What was the most memorable part of your first trip to Ireland and what made you want to return?
"The most memorable part of my first trip was the very welcoming people and the beautiful landscapes, along with the village that elects a goat as mayor once a year for a week."

What are you most looking forward to this trip that you didn’t get to do last trip?
"I wanted to return and see castles, Wicklow mountains, live music in pubs in Galway, and feel the warm culture again!"

P.S. "I’m also looking forward to going because it’s our second international trip together!" ☺️
Have you readers been to Ireland before? What's something we can't miss??
